Fireworks And Setly Update

As I promised at the last ward panel I will give setly updates of what we have been doing on our ward and how we are approaching crime and issues on our ward in the future.

Officers have completed two warrants in the past week and have arrested a male for racially aggravated public order and possession of an offensive weapon. Male was recalled to prison which will help to keep Fulham a safer place. We have also completed patrols around the pumpkin festival in Parsons Green engaging with the community whilst there and may have gained a pumpkin there myself. 

We have also completed patrols around hot spots for electric bike burglaries in private car parks and patrols around key hot spots for Theft From and Theft Of Motor Vehicles gaining intel and being proactive trying to deter crimes in these areas.

Coming out of Halloween into Guy Fawkes Night I will strive to remind people about keeping an eye out for anti-social behavior and fireworks being let off. As a reminder under regulation 7 of the Fireworks Regulations 2004 fireworks can not be set off after midnight on the night until 0700hrs in the following morning and under regulation 4 children under the age of 18 may not be in possession of larger fireworks in a public place without parental supervision. We will patrolling around on the night to provide reassurance and to intervene if required.  Please remember to be safe handling fireworks as LAS receive too many calls in relation to injuries from fireworks.
